  • Connector runs HORIZONTALLY below the fuel gauge (when viewing the BACK of the cluster)

CMBA

  • OXS (or Glow Plug for diesels) LED is on the LEFT side of the center indicators (when viewing the FRONT of the cluster)
  • Connector runs HORIZONTALLY below the fuel gauge (when viewing the BACK of the cluster)

CMDT

  • Digital clock
  • Tachometer
  • OXS (or Glow Plug for diesels) LED is on the LEFT side of the center indicators (when viewing the FRONT of the cluster)
  • Connector runs HORIZONTALLY below the fuel gauge (when looking at the BACK of the cluster)

CMBDT

  • Digital clock
  • Oil buzzer
  • Tachometer
  • OXS (or Glow Plug for diesels) LED is on the LEFT side of the center indicators (when viewing the FRONT of the cluster)
  • Connector runs HORIZONTALLY below the fuel gauge (when looking at the BACK of the cluster)
  • If you have an engine conversion - you will almost certainly need the CMDT kit (listed above) instead. Your new conversion only has one oil sensor, not two like the original waterboxer. i.e., no oil buzzer. If you currently have a CMBDT kit (or ordered it by mistake instead of the CMDT kit) but plan on converting to a different engine in the future that is fine. Once the conversion is complete you will need to do a simple modification to the kit to make it compatible. Please contact us for instructions.

Oil Buzzer Identification

Simply remove the instrument cluster cover so you can view the back. (Click here for instructions on how to do so.) If you have the metal pins showing that means YES, you do have the buzzer. If the metal pins are missing that means NO, you do not have the buzzer. Looking through your windshield from the outside may give you the best view. See below pics.

Testimonials

Here's what our customers have to say about these kits:

"Just wanted to tell you the kit installed without incident. Great product. Piece of cake. Hardest part was getting the 4 pin connector out of the tach. Love your detailed instructions on the net."

Tom M., Arizona

"I AM SO STOKED! It worked, I never even knew the clock and middle indicators had a light, and BEST of all: Gas gauge and engine heat gauge are working again! Awesome product."

Alex W., Ontario, Canada

"My instrument Panel has been transformed and all is alive! Thanks for all of your help."

Paul M., Indiana

"My mechanic will be stoked to install it; he was initially scared I’d purchased one from [a different vendor] and was gonna tell me immediately call them and cancel the order."

Christian W., California

"The kit went in perfectly - love the new LEDs and bright bulbs."

Robert L., North Carolina

"I just wanted to say [how] pleased I am with the wiring harness you sent me. Very easy to install and works perfectly. Call me crazy, but my foil was working ok. I just thought the idea of LED instrument illumination lamps was a good one; I can't foresee any of the lamps, indicators or the voltage regulator going bad in my lifetime. Thanks again for offering a great kit. (Subaru engine conversion.)"

Dave M., Pennsylvania
